Williamsburg Borough is located in eastern Blair County and is surrounded by Woodbury Township. The Borough is approximately 0.4 square miles in size and is home to almost 1,300 people. It is also the oldest Borough in Blair County.
Two natural landmarks can be found near Williamsburg Borough. The first is known as Indian Rocks, a series of tall chimney-like stone formations. The second is a flat rock outcropping known as Table Rock, which provides a view of the entire Borough. On the south side of Williamsburg is ‘The Big Spring,’ a large natural spring and popular photography destination.
The Borough sits within the Frankstown Branch of the Juniata River watershed, and the Frankstown Branch itself traces the Borough’s northern edge. Kayakers and paddlers can follow the Upper Section of the Juniata River Trail along this part of the river.
